I have been lucky enough to be closely involved in evaluation of both GravityFit and the Core Body Benchmark system developed by Dr Richardson.
I have found it excellent in the assessment and graduated progression of core strength in the clients I have used it with in my clinic.
GravityFit highlights the formerly ignored component of upper limb and shoulder girdle control in the evaluation and training of overall core control. Core Body Bench Mark takes the results of testing and applies it in a clear and structured series of innovative exercises.
They make the functional link between the two core centres vital in developing and further controlling movements of upper and lower limbs.
I believe it will become widely accepted in the profession as awareness of its obvious benefits become known to more Physiotherapists.

Professor Richardson and GravityFit has re-ignited the awareness that by providing strong muscle support to the joints, that we are able to prevent injury – this is very important for the athlete.

The tools are easy to wear and to teach clients how to fit. My favorite part is it takes out the guess work of "how to cue" . Once a patient wears the tools they feel what their core was meant to do . Once taken off, patients feel the fatigue even to the next day which then allows them to be aware of the muscle weakness.
